Quick answer
Generation continues after you change page or close the site. Use the combined queue and saved outputs panel to track progress, open completed work, cancel a queued item or retry a failed job.
Generation statuses
- Queued: waiting for an available worker. The panel shows its relative position and estimated wait.
- Running: source review or document preparation has started and progress is saved in the background.
- Completed: the saved output is ready to open, edit or export.
- Failed: the attempt ended without replacing your sources. Read the safe error and retry after correcting any source problem.
- Cancelled: a queued item was stopped before processing began.
You can leave the page
Generation jobs are durable and do not depend on the button remaining visible. You can move to another area or close the browser and return later. Notifications and the combined queue show the completed result.
Recover from a failed job
- Read the job message and inspect the selected source statuses.
- Replace empty, corrupt, failed or unsupported files, or add the required material as text.
- Keep the evidence set focused when an unusually large selection is not necessary.
- Use Retry document. Temporary capacity failures may already retry automatically before being marked failed.
- If repeated attempts fail, contact support with the job ID, approximate time and intended output type. Never include API keys or authentication links.
